European Physical Society Conference on High Energy Physics

The European Physical Society Conference on High Energy Physics (EPS-HEP) is one of the major international conferences that reviews the field every second year since 1971 organized by the High Energy and Particle Physics Divison of the European Physical Society. The latest conferences in this series were held in Stockholm, Grenoble, Krakow, Manchester, Lisbon and Aachen. Continua a leggere European Physical Society Conference on High Energy Physics

15th International Conference on Strangeness in Quak Matter

This Topical conference is devoted to Strangeness and Heavy Flavour production in Heavy Ion Collisions. The conference will focus on new experimental and theoretical developments on the role of strange and heavy-flavour quarks in proton-proton and in heavy-ion collisions, and in astrophysical phenomena. New results are expected, from the LHC, from RHIC and from other experimental programmes. Continua a leggere 15th International Conference on Strangeness in Quak Matter

9th International Conference on Interconnections between Particle Physics and Cosmology

Recent advances in observational astronomy and the discovery of 125-GeV Higgs boson have brought paradigm shifts on the potential connections between new fundamental particles and our understanding of their impact on the early universe and its evolution. With the content of the universe well known from astrophysical observations, a key aspect is that 27% of the universe appears to consist of dark matter. If current theories are correct, the particle physics candidate for this matter may well be observed in ongoing direct and/or indirect dark matter detection experiments or at the LHC. In addition, about 69% of the universe, the dark energy, still remains a significant mystery that major theoretical attempts are trying to understand. The XXII International Workshop on High Energy Physics and Quantum Field Theory

The Workshop continues a series of workshops started by the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics of Lomonosov Moscow State University (SINP MSU) in 1985 and conceived with the purpose of presenting topics of current interest and providing a stimulating environment for scientific discussion on new developments in theoretical and experimental high energy physics and physical programs for future colliders. Rencontres de Blois on Particle Physics and Cosmology

Particle Physics and Cosmology will emphasize the increasing interplay between high energy accelerator based physics and cosmology. The conference will consist of plenary sessions for invited in depth oral presentations (review talks and talks on specific specialised topics), and contributed papers, in the form of relatively short talks. Off-the-Beaten-Track Dark Matter and Astrophysical Probes of Fundamental Physics

The workshop will bring together experimental, observational and theoretical communities, in the fields of astro-particle physics, early universe cosmology and dark matter searches and phenomenology. 13° Nordic Meeting on Nuclear Physics

The 13th Nordic Meeting on Nuclear Physics will be held from 13th -17th April 2015 in Saariselkä in Finnish Lapland. The meeting is the latest in the series of conferences which have been held every few years since the 1970’s with the location rotating between Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The 12th Nordic Meeting was organized in Stockholm in June  2011. Tests of Fundamental Symmetries

“Tests of Fundamental Symmetries” is a one-day workshop organized jointly by the APS Topical Group on Precision Measurements and Fundamental Constants and the Few-body Topical Group. It will take place in Baltimore, MD on April 10, 2015–the day before the APS April meeting (APR15) begins. It will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center, the site of APR15. The goal of the workshop is to survey forefront efforts in searches for time-reversal and parity violation.  Continua a leggere Tests of Fundamental Symmetries

Top at Twenty

The “Top at Twenty” workshop is dedicated to the celebration of 20 years since the top quark discovery at Fermilab in 1995. Speakers from all experiments capable of studying top quark, ATLAS, CDF, CMS and DZero, will present the most recent results of the top quark studies based on Run II of the Tevatron and Run I of the LHC.
