New Results in X-ray Astronomy 2013

Continuing the series of annual one-day workshops on X-ray astronomy in the UK, this year’s meeting will be held by the School of Physics and Astronomy at the Highfield Campus of the University of Southampton. The meeting will take place on Monday, 16th September 2013 and will consist of contributed talks and posters on the subject of New Results in X-ray Astronomy 2013.

The purpose of this series of workshops is to showcase the increasingly fascinating and important science emerging from current X-ray missions, as well as to discuss the science that will drive the next generation of missions. In particular, this is an opportunity for junior members of the community to showcase their work and to meet members of other groups around the UK. The schedule of contributed talks and posters covers a broad array of research interests all important to current X-ray astrophysics.
